City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation's Splash Pads to Reopen for the 2025 Season

The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department will open the three splash pads for the season, beginning this Friday, May 16. All three splash pads are free to use.

The Rodgers Splash Pad is located at 3200 Bates Street. The Maxey Splash Pad is located at 4020 30th Street. The Mae Simmons Splash Pad is located at 1301 East 24th Street.

From May 16 through May 18, the three splash pads are open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

From May 19 through May 22, the splash pads are open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to accommodate the school day schedule.

From May 23 through the end of the season, the splash pads are open during normal hours of operation.
