Beginning July 15th, the Environmental Health Department will NO LONGER BE LOCATED AT CITIZEN'S TOWER. Our new building is located at 2015 50th St. However, we will be keeping the same phone number (806) 775-2928. Please be sure to come to the new location after July 15th for all in-person inquiries.
Food Trucks Inspections at the CIVIC CENTER
Come get your Mobile Food Unit inspection from Environmental Health and the Lubbock Fire Marshal at the north-west parking lot of the Lubbock Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane. These inspections take place every Tuesday morning from 10:30AM - 12:30PM.

The City of Lubbock Environmental Health Department will soon offer online invoicing and payments. Facilities will be able to view current and past invoices, payments, and inspections. In an effort to make this transition the department is updating its records on all facilities and accounts. Please complete and submit the attached form. Digital submission is preferred.

Have a Food Establishment or Public Health Complaint?
Our Environmental Health Sanitarians will investigate issues of public health concern. These complaints include Food Safety , Body Art, Smoking and Pool Complaints. If you wish to lodge a complaint that is not listed here that you believe to be of a public health concern, please call (806) 775-2928 or email environmentalhealth@mylubbock.us. If your complaint is outside the city, you may call the Health Authority for that area or the Texas Department of State Health Services at (512) 834-6753.
