The Buddy Holly Center Announces How to Use a Sketchbook: There are No Rules

The Buddy Holly Center invites you to join artist Alita Lutrick on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 for an evening celebrating and studying artists' sketchbooks! Sketchbooks are a good way for a person to document what is around them, what inspires them and what they desire to practice. The sketchbook can be like a personal journal or an instruction manual- the artist gets to decide.

 

Participants, 18 years +, will receive a spiral bound sketchbook and have the opportunity to make their own surrounded by the art of Ashley Stecenko in her exhibit, Daybook. There will be many materials to inspire creativity and to explore.
