Iola Avenue Road Closure from 66th to 68th Street to Begin Monday
Beginning Monday, October 27, 2025 , Barricades Unlimited will close Iola Avenue from 66th Street to 68th Street for Lubbock Underground to perform work on a sewer line. The work is scheduled to be completed by November 3, 2025, weather permitting.
The City urges motorists to use an alternate route if possible, eliminate distractions, and plan for extra travel time when driving through the area.
