Community Development and Services Board
Serves as an advisory board to the City Council, with power to hold hearings in the county and to consider and make recommendations to the City Council on any and all matters pertaining to the community development services of the county. Three year term. Meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

The city of Lubbock Community Development Department, in partnership with the Lubbock Housing Authority, is developing its 5-Year Consolidated Plan and the housing authority’s Annual Plan and Housing Needs Assessment, and a joint Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.
The City expects to receive funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs which will help to address affordable housing and community development needs.
