Each of the libraries has a computer lab with access to the Internet. Sessions are 45 minutes at Mahon and 30 minutes at the other libraries; however, if no one is in line, you may use the computer again. There is no limit on sessions per day. Children under 18 must have a parent sign a permission form, in person, before they can use the Internet. Printouts cost 10 cents per page.
Additionally, all the branches have free wireless internet.
Most computers have software for word processing, either Microsoft Office Suite, or Open Office which is compatible with Microsoft Office.
Library staff can get you started, but some basic knowledge of computers is necessary.
