The Garden and Arts Center is a proud member of the First Friday Art Trail and thrives to display the work of local artists, artisans, and crafters. The opening or closing reception date for exhibitions takes place during the First Friday of each month, unless otherwise stated.

Stitch By Stitch - 40 Years of Quilting
February 3, 2017 - February 24, 2017

As part of the First Friday Art Trail, the Lubbock Municipal Garden & Arts Center (GAC) will host a reception on February 3, 2017 from 6:00  p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the opening of Stitch By Stitch - 40 Years Of Quilting.  This exhibit features the fiber art works of The South Plains Quilters.

Youth Art Month
March 3, 2017 - March 31, 2017

The Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center (GAC) is delighted to announce a reception to be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for the opening of Generating Creativity: Local Youth Art.  Hosted by Lubbock ISD, this exhibition will display local student work that showcases the creativity and talent of youth artists from LISD.  The Garden and Arts Center will also be participating in the First Friday Art Trail and have refreshments available on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  This exhibit is free and open to the public.
