The City of Lubbock and Lubbock County are conducting an assessment of UNINSURED property damaged from the June 5, 2013 storms. Residents and business owners are encouraged to fill out the Damage Assessment form (attached). Required information includes “Type of Structure,” “Level of Uninsured Damage,” and “Address of Uninsured Damage.” Due to state requirement deadlines, the City and County must have this information no later than Wednesday, June 19. Again, this damage assessment only applies to UNINSURED property.
Residents and business owners can find the Damage Assessment form in Room 107 at Lubbock City Hall, 1625 13th Street, or download it on the City’s website, June 5, 2013 Damage Assessment Form. Completed forms can be dropped off in Room 107 of Lubbock City Hall, 1625 13th Street or can be mailed to:

The information will be used to determine if the State of Texas is eligible for possible
federal assistance. The State would need at least $34.5 million dollars in uninsured damages from the June 5, 2013 storm to even be considered for federal assistance.
