Traffic on a minor approach at a traffic signal may face increased delay to maximize progression for the major movements. The signal may have returned to green early or be held in green for the major movement due to coordination. Since coordination requires a fixed cycle length, some green time may be lost on a major movement at the beginning and end of peak traffic periods.
If the signal appears to be cycling through the other approaches while skipping yours, a vehicle detector may be malfunctioning. If you wait at a signal more than two minutes, please contact us
to have it serviced.
