Pool and Diving Rules
City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department has a zero tolerance policy! (*no fighting, no horseplay, no profanity or vulgarity.)
Any patron not following the rules or lifeguard instruction will be escorted out of the pool area.
All patrons MUST wear a bathing suit. (*no cut-offs, no belts, no sagging shorts.)
If a t-shirt must be worn, it must be SOLID white (no logos).
All children UNDER the age of ten (10) must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older).
City of Lubbock is NOT responsible for the loss or theft of any personal items. Please DO NOT bring in your valuables.
Lifejackets must be coast guard approved. No other floatation devices are allowed in the pool.
No refunds due to inclement weather.
No glass containers.
Pool manager has the right to remove any patron at any time for any behavior that they may believe
to be a safety issue.
Diving Board Rules
Before you go off the diving board you must swim the width of the pool.
Only one person will be allowed on the board at a time.
One bounce per dive.
Jump or dive straight off the board.
No back flips, back dives, inwards, or reverses off the diving boards.
Before diving make sure the area below the board is clear and the previous diver is at the ladder.
Parents or guardians will not be allowed to catch children jumping off the board.
Whenever additional rules are deemed advisable for the health and safety of the swimmers, the Parks and Recreation Department may put additional rules into effect. Rules may be written or oral
