Where To Register
To register for a Parks and Recreation class, visit the Community Center or Senior Center where the class is being held and register in person.
Registration for Monthly Classes
New registration for monthly, ongoing classes can be done any time in the month. For a new participant, the first month will be prorated. Once enrolled in a class, monthly payments are due on the first of each month and will not be prorated for any missed classes.
Fill out the registration form in the latest activity guide or click on the link above. Once completed, take the form and pay in person at the Community or Senior Center where the class is being held or mail the registration form and fee to the above listed address. For youth camps and some youth classes, additional forms may be required to be completed as part of the registration process.
If you have a least 7-10 days before your selected class starts, then you may mail in your registration form and any registration fees (check or money order only) to:
Parks and Recreation Class Registration
PO Box 2000
Lubbock, TX 79457
If your class begins in less then 7 days, we recommend you call the center to verify room in the class and then register at the center where the class is being held.
Our Community and Senior Centers accept cash, checks or money orders. Mail-in registrations should be accompanied by checks or money orders only. Class registrations are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by Parks and Recreation.
The only way to hold a place in a Parks and Recreation class is with a completed and paid registration.
Class size is limited, so register at least one week in advance of a class’s start date. Do not wait and register on the first day of class.
Many of our popular classes fill quickly, so register early to insure your spot. On the other hand, sometimes great classes are cancelled due to low enrollment numbers. To make sure your class is not cancelled, enroll early to make sure we have enough participants to hold the class.
